Adjenai is a singer-songwriter who found her passion for music during her nomadic teenage years. Growing up in a family that traveled the globe with just a backpack of belongings, she used music to turn a desire for communication and connection into art. Originally from the east coast but now living in Los Angeles, she has settled cross-country and is working on her debut solo EP, “Make Me Feel.”
As an advocate for mental health, Adjenai has always believed in sharing her experience with depression, anxiety, and disordered eating. This year, she founded MENTAL, a zine that creates a platform for other LGBTQIA+ and BIPoC creators to share their perspectives on mental health & wellness within marginalized communities.
